Diversity at the Oscars Is More than a Numbers Game

On the first, numerical goals are a mere first step in what needs to happen for inclusion to be a reality. I do not claim to be an expert on the film industry, but I do know that simply increasing the numerical diversity of one of its professional associations will not change its broader reward systems, or the industry as a whole.
