Ken G: January 4, 2011 at 5:55 am Trained staff perform better, but motivation can be a problem. Bosses on training courses or encouraging people to undertake learning is not enough – we all have that ‘what’s in it for me’ and being good or better at a job I do anyway does not always cut it.

Before the training, I assumed that paraprasing was more of language technique but was suprised to learn that it was a listening skill. Daniel Goleman, in “Social Intelligence&# cites some great studies about how emotions are “catching&# , just like a virus. I think it is part of doctors’ professional training to be nice with the patients. He knew the right things to say, and delivered them with an optimistic attitude. I went to the doctor.
