I feel that the majority of good leaders can only be developed, in a sense that no specific training, educational degree or position can define their development. Large corporations have HR departments that trained to help and also many have anonymous phone lines where you can report companies’ ethical violators, workplace abuse. By not doing anything you are just supporting bad management. Confronting a bad manager can be somewhat easier to do in large organizations but in small firms can be harder.

After college I participated in a program at Walt Disney World, where creating a pleasant work environment was part of their corporate culture and leadership training. Through having leaders that appreciated and went out of their way to encourage us, we in turn were more inclined to support one another and this made work much more enjoyable.

To fix this they need to be sent to sensitivity, diversity and similar trainings on a yearly basis. One, “They need training&# ; the issues you speak of don’t get fixed by training. I don’t know how many incompetent executives there are but I would like to think there are many more that are competent.
