One of the highlights of hosting my “Leadership Biz Cafe” podcast has been the chance to interview Stephen M.R. Covey twice, exploring how successful leaders develop trust within their organizations.
In case you hadn’t heard, author and leadership guru Stephen Covey passed away last summer at age 79 from injuries suffered in a bicycling accident. Covey is perhaps best known for his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
Like many others, I was surprised and saddened to learn of the passing this week of Stephen Covey, the author of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Saddened but also grateful for his life and work. Since it was first released in 1989, I’ve probably read The Seven Habits all the way through at least half a dozen times.
