Companies are increasingly utilizing automation technologies to increase productivity and innovation. Most change agendas fail due to the underestimation of the human impact, rather than the technology or process impact. Individuals may fall into three categories: earlyadopters, late adopters, and resistors.
In the same way, digital disruption is not about the technology as much as it is about how companies can make their way through the new competitive environment they find themselves in. Digital disruption is more about the people than it is the technology. What About Leadership? Digital leaders need to focus on business value.

When a new industry surfaces, the earlyadopters (first-movers) set-up shop, validate proof of concept, carve out their niche, and build very strong, if not in some cases, category dominant brands. I think our principal observation was that what was happening was that disruptive innovations driven by largely information technology but lots of other technologies on the fringe here that are getting ready to exhibit the same kind of characteristics were entering the market in kind of this better and cheaper way.
